The Cottage Homes - Elveden, Suffolk -

The Cottage Homes in Elveden were
built in 1912 for the elderly and retired employees of the Elveden
Estate. These cottages were first used in 1914 as quarters for the
Scots Guards training in the Thetford area and, later, in 1916 by
tank training officers.
